Blue Period manga could be adapted to anime

A recent leak assured that the manga written and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, Blue Period, will have an anime adaptation. It is worth mentioning that the work will have an important announcement in the third edition of the year 2021 of the Kodansha publishing house’s Monthly Afternoon magazine, on January 25, 2021, so the leak could be confirmed there.

Yamaguchi began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher’s Monthly Afternoon magazine in June 2017. The publisher published the eighth compiled volume on September 23, and will publish the ninth on January 21, 2021 in Japan.

Synopsis of Blue Period

Yataro Yaguchi is a second year high school student who is bored with his normal life. He studies well and plays with his friends, but he doesn’t really enjoy any of these activities. Tied to the rules, he secretly envies those who dare to do things differently.
