Can’t Open Apps on iPhone? Facebook is to Blame

Several users have detected and reported the problem this Friday.

According to The Independent, several iPhone applications are experiencing failures, which are caused by a problem with Facebook. These applications use the social network as a means of login.

The fault in question – a Facebook code problem – seems to be registered only on iOS devices, since the problem was not reported by those using the Android operating system.

The problem has led many of the world’s largest applications, such as Spotify, to go under, as soon as they were opened by their users.
