In the history of the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi obata, Death note, November 28 is an iconic date for all fans, almost on the same level as October 3 is for fans of Fullmetal alchemist. In this popular franchise, November 28, 2003 was the day the protagonist light Yagami found the Death Note and murdered its first two victims. The criminal Kurou Otoharada died of a heart attack, while the abuser Takuo shibuimaru he died from a traffic accident while driving his motorcycle.
Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi obata published the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from the publisher Shueisha between December 2003 and May 2006, with a total of twelve compilation volumes published. The play inspired a 37-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Madhouse, under the direction of Tetsurou araki and scripts written by Yoshiki Inoue, released in October 2006. Two compilation films entitled Death Note: Rewrite were released on August 31, 2007 and August 22, 2008.
Death Note Synopsis
A shinigami, as the god of death, can kill anyone, as long as he knows the face of his victim and writes his name in a notebook called “Death Note”. One day, Ryuk, bored by the lifestyle of a shinigami and interested to see how a human would use the notebook, drops it into the human realm. High school prodigy Light Yagami is the one who stumbles upon the notebook and tests its capabilities by writing the name of a criminal on it. When the criminal dies immediately after his experiment, Light is shocked and quickly realizes how devastating the power he has now gained could be.
