Disney works on live-action version of “Hercules”

Disney is preparing a new live-action film this time and it is the remake of Hercules, released in 1997, which will add to those previously made as Aladdin and The Lady and the Tramp.

As reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter, the script will be by Dave Challaham, and will be produced by Joe and Anthony Russo ( Directors of Avengers Endgame and Infinity War).

The movie inspired by Greek mythology has yet to be confirmed by the studio, however, rumors suggest that the songs from the animated version would remain. About the live-action director, there are no details yet, but Disney would be in talks with Jon Favreau, Russo brothers, and Gore Verbinski.
