Through his official account on Twitter, the author Reiji Miyajima, creator of the Kanojo manga, Okarishimasu, announced that the animated adaptation of his work ranked fourth on Netflix’s daily popularity list for its Japanese division.
On the other hand, it was also revealed that the anime adaptation of the manga Enen no Shouboutai (Fire Force), is the series that occupies the first place on the list. In the fifth position is the anime Natsume Yuujinchou, a franchise that has just announced a new film project for 2021. These titles compete for their positions with Korean dramas that are widely recognized in the Japanese country.
About Fire Force
The second season of the series premiered on July 3 on Japanese television and it is confirmed that it will have a total of 24 episodes. For his part, Ohkubo has been publishing the manga in Kodansha publishing house’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since September 2015. The publishing house published the twenty-third compiled volume on May 15. The play inspired a 24-episode anime adaptation produced by David Production Studios, released in July 2019.

The series premiered in Japan on July 10. For his part, Miyajima began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2017. The publisher published its fifteenth compiled volume on June 17.
