Due to a legal conflict and the fact that Epic Games broke the rules, Fortnite: Battle Royale was left out of the iOS ecosystem. For this reason, a clue that seemed to indicate that there was a possibility that the Battle Royale would return to iPhone and iPad caught the attention of many. Sadly, it was all a simple misunderstanding.
What happens is that dataminers like HYPEX and FireMonkey found a hotfix that seemed to be focused on the iOS version of Fortnite. The interesting thing is that they said it was a small update that changed values related to the system of direct payments for temporary materials.
Recall that Epic Games implemented a direct payment system in the iOS version of Fortnite: Battle Royale. This skipped Apple’s commission and offered a more attractive price to players. That said, it is a rule-breaking measure and this is why it led to the game being removed from the App Store.
