Google will Invest More than 8 Billion Euros in India

Value will be invested over the next seven years.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced at a company event dedicated to India that the company will invest $ 10 billion (€ 8.8 billion) for the country’s Internet.

“This reflects our confidence in the future of India and its digital economy,” said Pichai. “India’s digital journey is far from complete. There is still work to be done to make the Internet accessible and useful for billions of Indians… From improving speech recognition and computing for all Indian languages, to inspiring and supporting a whole new generation of entrepreneurs ”.

The investment in question will be made over the next seven years and will mainly target the technology sector.
