On the official Twitter account for the animated adaptation of the Hige wo Soru light novels. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou, an illustration was shared to commemorate the broadcast of the eleventh episode. The illustration was done by Booota, the artist of the original light novels.
Imaru Adachi, who is in charge of the manga adaptation of the franchise, also posted an illustration to commemorate this broadcast.
The series has been broadcast in Japan since last April 5 and is confirmed with a total of thirteen episodes, while the Crunchyroll platform is in charge of its distribution in the West. On the other hand, the light novels written by Shimesaba and illustrated by Booota were published through Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint since February 2018 and ended with their fifth volume in June 2021.

Clerk Yoshida has been in love with his co-worker Airi Gotou for five years. Despite finally getting a date with her, her confession is quickly rejected. Drunk and disappointed, he staggers home, only to find a high school girl sitting on the side of the road.
The next morning, the girl, introducing herself as Sayu Ogiwara, reveals that she has escaped from Hokkaido to Tokyo. Yoshida, however, is not convinced by her work. Instead, he asks her to do a different kind of job, one that involves washing dishes and doing laundry. And so begins a heartwarming relationship of a runaway high school girl.
