‘Monster Hunter’ delays its premiere to January 1

Milla Jovovich won't face Capcorn's video game monsters until 2021

The long-awaited adaptation of Monster Hunter was one of the few blockbusters that held its release date in December, but in the end the film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich has ended up postponing its arrival in theaters. The premiere will take place a month later than planned: on January 1, 2021.

Milla Jovovich plays Lieutenant Artemis, who along with her military unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) is transported through a portal to a world of huge and terrifying monsters.

There they will run into a mysterious hunter played by Tony Jaa, whose fighting skills together with the strategy outlined by Ron Perlman will be essential to face the dangerous creatures.
