On the official Twitter account for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken) multimedia franchise, it was announced that a special broadcast will be held on August 8 at 12:00 (Japan time), through the Warner Bros. Anime’s official YouTube channel. The broadcast will feature new information for the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean animation project.
Stone Ocean is the sixth story arc of the main series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki, which was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between January 2000 and April 2003. On the other hand, the preceding arc titled Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind was published in the same magazine between November 1995 and April 1999, with a total of seventeen compiled volumes.

In Florida in 2011, Jolyne Kuujou sits inside a cell like her father Joutarou once did; although her situation was not chosen by her. Charged with a crime she did not commit and manipulated to serve a longer sentence, Jolyne is ready to renounce her fate as a prisoner in the Green Dolphin Street jail. Although all hope seems lost, a gift from her father Joutarou ends up manifesting in her, hers Stand, “Stone Free”.
