Netflix met with investors to present the financial results for the second quarter of 2020, with a higher than expected number of subscribers. But this was not the only news shared by the company, which indicated that it will have even more original series and films in 2021 than it presented this year.
“For 2021, based on our current plan, we expect the paused productions will lead to a more second half weighted content slate in terms of our big titles, although we anticipate the total number of originals for the full year will still be higher than 2020 ”, Pointed out Netflix in a statement according to Engadget.
Netflix also announced that Ted Sarandos, the executive responsible for the content available on the platform, will join Reed Hastings in the lead and become co-CEO.
