The Japanese company is evaluating ways to adapt some of its intellectual properties.
Nintendo is a company known mainly for its presence in the video game industry, with series widely recognized as ‘Super Mario’, ‘The Legend of Zelda’ or ‘Donkey Kong’. However, these same series can be exchanged for other means of entertainment.
It was this hypothesis that Nintendo put ‘on the table’ in the most recent presentation of financial results, indicating that the company is evaluating adapting its intellectual properties to other means of entertainment. However, examples of other formats were not cited, so it seems that Nintendo wants to keep an ‘open mind’.
“As a company that creates entertainment that brings smiles to people’s faces, Nintendo works to create new forms of entertainment while maintaining a robust business structure. To expand our business, we apply our greatest emphasis on providing new forms of entertainment to users around the world that they have never seen before, ”reads the Nintendo statement.
