Sam Neill says goodbye to the filming of ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’

Almost twenty years after 'Jurassic Park III', the actor has once again played Dr. Alan Grant in Colin Trevorrow's film.

The great claim of Jurassic World: Dominion (beyond the possibility of verifying what follows the anguishing cliffhanger with which The Fallen Kingdom closed) is the return of the original trio of Jurassic Park. In the 1993 hit Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum played Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm. The last of them was already seen in the sequel to J.A. Bayona, but what awaits us in Dominion is a comeback with all the laws.

Aware of this, throughout the filming the three actors have made small winks on social networks to fans of the saga, being organized by Goldblum to promote the vote in the already held US elections through recreations of moments of the original film. The filming, however, is finally over, and we can only celebrate it based on the many difficulties it has gone through.

As we said, Dominion’s production has been the first to return to work after a long hiatus due to COVID-19 and can conclude its filming, after hosting multiple security protocols and hosting several positive tests. Colin Trevorrow, director of what would be the sixth installment of the saga, paid tribute to his colleagues with an image on social networks, which Sam Neill has retweeted with a very emotional text. It is the next.

“There were days when we thought we wouldn’t make it. But we have done it, we have achieved what seemed impossible. Great team. Great cast. Unbeatable director. Let’s celebrate it, ”he wrote. Once the filming is finished, there is the expensive post-production process according to which the indispensable dinosaurs will come to life, and the idea is that everything is ready so that Jurassic World: Dominion can be released on June 10, 2022.
