Scarlet Nexus, Bandai Namco’s new RPG, already has a launch window

Futuristic world revealed in new trailer

Bandai Namco has bet heavily on new intellectual properties and one of these new projects is Scarlet Nexus, an RPG that is in charge of the creators of the Tales of Vesperia series. It was already known which platforms this game would reach, but there was no talk about when it would be available. Well, if you’re eager to know, there’s good news, as Bandai Namco revealed that it will arrive in the middle of 2021.

The developer and distributor was present at The Game Awards 2020 ceremony and took advantage of its space to present a new trailer for its next action-adventure RPG Scarlet Nexus in which the Other Suppression Force (OSF) or Force is seen. Alter Suppression (FSA, as it is known in Spanish) use their psychic powers to fight brain-hungry beasts. The most interesting thing about this trailer is that before finishing, it was revealed that it has a release scheduled for summer 2021.

Scarlet Nexus will introduce a futuristic world Brain Punk

In case you don’t know anything about Scarlet Nexus and want to understand what the trailer is about, we inform you that the Others are deranged mutants who come from heaven and that due to their mutation they suffer constant pain and madness that can only be appeased with brains specials of the humans of the future Brain Punk of Scarlet Nexus, characterized by technology and psychic abilities.

In order to cope with threats, humans – who developed a brain with advanced abilities – created the Other Suppression Force (OSF), which is a group that gathers the best psionics and uses their skills in battle. To do this, it is necessary to connect the force through ties called “red ropes” —and apparently that is where the name of the game comes from—, with which the characters can enhance their combat skills and use those of their allies.

The world of Scarlet Nexus, New Himuka, which is an alternate version of Japan that mixes anime with western science fiction. Although Scarlet Nexus has a story, you can live it through 2 different perspectives, that of new OSF recruit Yuito Sumeragi and the mysterious member Kasane Randall, who can be seen in the trailer below.

Scarlet Nexus will debut next summer on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
