The release of the remastered version of Final Fantasy VII on Switch opened the door to the arrival of Cloud Strife, protagonist of the game to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and following that line, last week it was revealed that Sephiroth, antagonist of the legendary RPG, he will also join the battle. Unlike other revelations, that of the one-winged angel was well received by the community and after the announcement, the villain already took his place in the game’s mural.
As you know, that expression of Masahiro Sakurai “everyone is here” to highlight the amount of characters and content of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, in the end the largest installment in the history of the franchise, has become a theme in itself and no matter what happens next, the game has an official mural where all the characters who have joined the battle are placed. As part of the announcement of the arrival, rather the descent of Sephiroth, to the game, the occasion was propitious for him to occupy his space in said mural, right next to his rival, Cloud.
As has happened on other occasions, after the announcement a special stream takes place with all the details of the character that joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and in the case of Sephiroth, Masahiro Sakurai will be in charge of giving us the introduction to the character next December 17 at 4:00 PM Mexico City time.
