Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja franchise surpasses 4 million copies in circulation

The description of the fourteenth volume of the light novels written by Shotou shinkou and illustrated by Huuka kazabana, Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja (The Strongest Sage of Disqualified Crest), confirmed that the literary franchise has exceeded 4 million copies in circulation. This figure includes both the digital copies sold and the copies of the manga adaptation. The list also includes the cover illustration for this volume, which will be released on January 14, 2022 in Japan.

Shoutou shinkou began the publication of the light novels through the publishing house SB Creative in December 2016 with illustrations by Huuka kazabana. A manga adaptation by the hand of Kansho and Hyoko is published on the website Manga Up! from the publisher Square enix since May 2017.

The play is inspiring an anime adaptation produced by the studios JCSTAFF, under the direction of Noriaki Akitaya (Battle Girl High School, Active Raid) and scripts written by Hiroki uchida (A Certain Scientific Railgun T, Date A Live III), scheduled to premiere in January 2022 in Japan.
