On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryuu, Kumo desu ga, Nani ka ?, the first promotional video of the project was published.
The video reveals that the series will premiere on January 8, 2021 in Japan and will run for a total of two consecutive arcs, that is, six months. Furthermore, Baba and Kiryuu began publishing the light novels in December 2015 through the Fujimi Shobo publishing house. The publisher published the thirteenth volume on July 10.
A manga adaptation by Asahiro Kakashi has been published in Kodansha publisher’s Young Ace Up magazine since December 2015. The publisher published the eighth compiled volume on March 3. Finally, the statement also included a new promotional image for this project.
Cast of voices

Okina Baba and Yuuichirou Momose (Infinite Dendrogram, Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai) are in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
Kii Tanaka (Hitoribocchi no Marumaruseikatsu, Hinomaru Zumō)
