Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is a movie that anime fans have waited for years. Unfortunately, they will have to be patient and wait a little longer. The thing is, once again, its release date was delayed.
Khara, the animation studio in charge of Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, confirmed that its premiere had to be delayed and now lacks a release date. Let’s remember that this long-awaited tape was scheduled to debut on January 23.
But if everything was ready for Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time to be released, what happened? Remember that we are still living in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and that is to blame for the fact that the Evangelion film is not going to be released on the expected date.
In case you’re not aware, the Japanese government recently declared a state of emergency over the pandemic. This is why Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will not be able to debut at the end of the month.
