He already did it in late May by publishing a commercial in which he participated for the Uber Eats chain, and now he does it by publishing an unknown duet with another world music idol: Michael Jackson.
The Mexican singer published a YouTube video where the voices of him and the King of Pop are heard interpreting the song “Smile”, both in Spanish and in English in perfect synchronization.
Is It Real?
The recording is not official and corresponds to a clip recorded by a fan of both artists and who published it on his YouTube account.
“I made this small montage with two artists who stand out from the rest for me … they are my favorites and I hope you enjoy the song just as I do,” says the video description.
Through Luis Miguel La Serie (Netflix) it became known that one of the biggest dreams of the Sun of Mexico was to do a duet with Michael Jackson, something that he sought since 1987 and failed to fulfill after the death of the creator of Thriller in 2009.
“Smile” is a song based on an instrumental theme from the movie “Modern Times” (1936) directed by Charles Chaplin. The English artist composed the music alongside John Turner, while in 1954 Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and title.
Michael Jackson recorded his version of “Smile” in 1995, while Luis Miguel included his Spanish version on his album Christmas in 2006.
