These are the Summer-2021 series with the highest retention of viewers

The Japanese portal Livedoor News published an article pointing out that the Summer-2021 (July-September) season has crossed its half. For this reason, they compiled the most watched series to date on the Japanese distribution platform Niconico, one of the largest streaming services in Japan. The review considers all the series that have passed the six episodes aired so far, however, it does not review those that have been seen the most, but rather those that maintain a higher rate of viewer retention.

What is the viewer retention rate? In short, it is the number of people who saw the first episode of the series and continue to watch it to this day. That is, if a series has a retention rate of 30% in its sixth episode, it means that of the total who saw the first episode (considered 100%), only 30% remain following the weekly broadcasts.
