Three oat shakes that help control anxiety (and appetite)

Quarantine does not have to be synonymous with stress and the ‘cure’ can be in the diet.

Metro newspaper published three recipes for oatmeal shakes that increase satiety, alleviate the desire to eat foods full of sugar and fat, and that above all help to control anxiety, promoting mental health.

Oat and strawberry smoothie:


– ¼ cup of oats

– 5 strawberries

– ¼ cup of milk

– 1 natural yogurt

– 1 cup of ice.


Put the ingredients in a blender and blend until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Serve and drink.

Oat and apple smoothie


– 2 tablespoons of oats;

– 1 apple;

– 1 cup of milk.


Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until it becomes a consistent mixture. Serve and drink.

Oat smoothie and blueberries


– ⅓ cup of blueberries

– 2 bananas

– 3 kiwis

– ⅔ cup of oats

– 1 cup of water


Blend kiwi, banana, and blueberries in a blender. Mix the oats with the water in a separate container. Combine the two preparations. Serve and drink.
