Have you ever wanted to be a pilot?
Have you used the WhatsApp pilot emoji?
Here we tell you its characteristics and its meaning.
The arrival of emojis to the digital world has made it easier for users to express their feelings in conversations on WhatsApp and other platforms. They are generally divided into six categories including yellow faces, food, animals, weather conditions, numbers, and symbols.
Currently, it is very common to replace words or phrases with an emoji that expresses exactly what you want to say. WhatsApp has made its catalog of emojis available to everyone, which makes clear their real meaning, be it happiness, sadness, dream, anger, disappointment, among others, but there are some more whose interpretation is subject to different cultural contexts depending on the environment of the person using them.
Today we have to talk about the WhatsApp pilot, which has two variations, both male and female. It results in a sequence of the emojis “Man” and “Airplane”, these are used with a combination of zero width between each character and are exposed as a single emoji on the supported platforms. It is named “Man Pilot” and was added to Emoji 4.0 in 2016.
This emoticon represents a professional pilot whose function is to handle an airplane. He is shown dressed in a recognizable uniform and a pilot hat. Very commonly this emoji is used in the context of this profession: men who in some way have a connection with an airplane, those who are going to be pilots or the actual pilots themselves, or even in the publications and messages about them. Without a doubt, this profession is highly desired by children, it is usually one of their dreams and they want to fulfill it when they grow up, for that reason it can also be used in relation to dreams, new heights and achievements.
It is important to mention that, despite having the same Unicode coding, each platform can vary the design of each emoji to adapt to its operating system or interface. On many occasions this generates a great difference in the interpretation of the same symbol.
