Whatsapp Will No Longer Work On These Smartphones

As of December 31, WhatsApp will no longer be supported on a total of 49 devices, including some older iPhone models and a number of older Android smartphones. These devices may have difficulty keeping up with the frequent updates released by WhatsApp, and as a result, the app may stop functioning on them. For example, on iPhones running iOS 10 and iOS 11, WhatsApp stopped working on October 24. While it is not uncommon for people to still be using older smartphones, if your device is on the list of unsupported devices, you will no longer be able to use WhatsApp starting on December 31. It is worth noting that the affected devices are generally quite old, so it is possible that you may have already upgraded to a newer model.
