The head of Microsoft’s video game division left no room for doubt
Xbox’s subscription service, the Xbox Game Pass, has long been considered the brand’s great ‘asset’ in the ‘console war’ and is considered one of the arguments in favor of the Microsoft platform.
The fact that the service is also present on the PC has led to speculation that it could reach rivals on PlayStation and Nintendo, but according to Xbox manager Phil Spencer, that will not happen.
“The other competitive platforms are not interested in having a complete Xbox experience on their equipment. But for us, we want to be where the players want to be and that is the path we are taking,”said Spencer in an interview with Game Star.
