Your shot in Hollywood! The FACIUNI scholarships to study cinema are here

The International University Academic Film Festival offers a scholarship for the summer program of the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts.

If you dream of dedicating yourself to the cinema, you surely know the USC School of Cinematic Arts (School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California). Its prestigious list of alumni can make any movie fan dizzy: John Carpenter, James Gray, Robert Zemeckis, John Milius, Shonda Rhimes, Rian Johnson or Judd Apatow are just some of the big names in Hollywood who studied there.

Thanks to the 8th edition of the scholarship program of the International University Academic Film Festival (FACIUNI), for the first time in Europe, you can be part of the Warner Brothers summer program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

To participate you just have to go to the FACIUNI page and complete the registration form before December 30. You must attach your finished short film and the registration of the university where you are studying.

It is the first time that film and audiovisual students from Spain and Portugal will be able to participate in the FACIUNI scholarships that are already offered in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and the United States.

A specialized jury, together with the public vote, will choose a winner per country; those selected will be eligible for the jackpot. A scholarship for the summer program of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

This initiative is a program developed by DIRECTV Latin America, SKY Brasil and AT&T with the support of their partners CAA (Creative Artists Agency), TVCORTOS, USC School of Cinematic Arts and Sundance Co // ab, a learning platform for independent creators of everyone who is part of the Sundance Institute.

Since the first edition in 2013, the FACIUNI scholarship program has grown year after year with more than 2,800 shorts. To date, there have been 19 international winners, 58 national winners, and more than $ 800,000 in scholarships for film students.
